Jean-Pierre de Haeck

Jean-Pierre de Haeck currently serves as the Head of Payment Systems Supervision at the Central Bank of The UAE since February 2024. Previously, Jean-Pierre held a position in the Directorate of Market Infrastructure and Payment at the European Central Bank from June 2018 to June 2024. Jean-Pierre's extensive experience in the financial sector includes a directorship at Euroclear from November 1993 to June 2018. Jean-Pierre holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Laws (LLM) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Université Catholique de Louvain, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ashridge Executive Education at Hult International Business School, and a Master in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, Jean-Pierre is a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
