Botirkhon Sultonov has worked at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan since 2014. Botirkhon started as a Leading Economist in April 2014 and worked in that role until October 2017. Botirkhon then became the Deputy Chairman Assistant from October 2017 to September 2018. In November 2020, they assumed the position of Head of the Unit for IFIs at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan. In addition, they had an internship at the National Bank of Poland from January 2020 to March 2020.
Botirkhon Sultonov completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bradford between 2009 and 2013. Later, between 2018 and 2020, they pursued their Masters degree in Monetary Policy from the Banking and Finance Academy of Uzbekistan.
