Matthew Qualter

Matthew Qualter is an experienced professional in career services and employer engagement, currently serving as the Director of Internship Programs at Central Boston Elder Services since June 2023. In this role, Matthew focuses on developing a robust internship program aimed at transitioning interns into full-time positions within the Human Resources team. Previously, as Associate Director of Employer Engagement at Boston University, responsibilities included collaborating with alumni and employers to enhance student connections to the job market. Prior roles include Director of Experiential Education & Career Services at Newbury College, Coordinator of Cooperative Education/Internships at North Shore Community College, and Student Career Specialist at ValleyWorks Career Center. Matthew holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a BA in English from Salem State University.
