Brendan Maidment

Brendan Maidment is a seasoned professional in the beverage industry, currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Central City Brewers + Distillers since February 2024. Prior experience includes a tenure as General Manager at Darby's Hospitality from March 2018 to February 2024, and as Manager at Darbys Pub and Liquor Store, where a strong emphasis was placed on curating a diverse selection of craft beer and single malt whisky. Brendan's career began at Liquor Depot, where skills in team management and efficient completion of administrative tasks were developed during the role of Keyholder/Senior Supervisor. Educationally, Brendan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Calgary, obtained between 2012 and 2015.
