Michele Monette, LMSW, serves as the Executive Director at Central City Health since November 2018, where responsibilities have included roles such as Behavioral Health Clinical Auditor and Clinical Supervisor. Prior to this position, Michele worked at Team Wellness Center as a Clinical Therapist from September 2016 to November 2018 and at Stonecrest Behavioral Center from April 2012 to September 2016 as Utilization Review Manager. Additional experience includes providing therapeutic services at GATEWAY DETROIT EAST and acting as a Case Manager at Parker Social Services. Michele holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Wayne State University, earned between 2010 and 2011.

CCIH is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), As a FQHC, CCIH has integrated primary medical, dental, mental health services along with housing and support services. Over 4,200 individuals were served through the wide array of services that we provide and the 500 affordable housing units we manage in Detroit. CCIH receives Federal funding from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to support our health center, community outreach, integration of behavioral and primary health services, reentry programs, and housing development.
