Brightin Rose Schlumpf

Substitute Section Viola at Central City Opera

Brightin Rose Schlumpf is an accomplished violist and violinist with extensive teaching and performance experience. Currently serving as a Substitute Section Viola with the Central City Opera and the Colorado Symphony, Brightin also holds a long-term position with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra as Section Viola. Brightin's Music Studio has been providing private lessons since 2003, specializing in traditional and Suzuki methods. Additional roles include teaching at Trala, Inc. and serving as viola and violin faculty at the Lamont Summer Music Academy. Educational achievements include a B.A. cum laude in Music from Cornell University and multiple advanced degrees in music performance from prestigious institutions, including the Longy School of Music. Brightin is actively involved in the Colorado music community as an Alumni Ambassador Volunteer and a wedding musician.
