Jane Avery Bohen has extensive experience in leadership and community service, currently serving as President and previously as Vice President at Central England Co-operative since 2015. Jane also holds the position of Chair at Leicester Rape Crisis and has served as Chair for Jasmine House Leicester Rape Crisis from 2013 to 2020. As a Business Development Officer at the Co-operative & Social Enterprise Development Agency since 2011, Jane advises co-ops and social enterprises on growth strategies. Prior roles include Business Development Manager at Carillon Broadcasting, Grants Manager at Leicestershire & Rutland Community Foundation, and Local Co-ordinator for the Dyspraxia Foundation. Jane's educational background includes a DMS in Business Studies from Open University and Oxford Brookes University, along with O & A levels from John Port School.
