Chris Minerd has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Chris is currently working at Central Greene School District since 2021, where they serve as the Head Women Basketball Coach and Athletic Director. Prior to this, they worked at Jim Shorkey Auto Group as a Commercial Sales Specialist from 2020 to 2021. From 2014 to 2020, Chris was employed at California Area School District as the Athletic Director and Facilities Manager. Chris also had previous experience at the same school district as the Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach from 2007 to 2009 and as the Head Coach from 2010 to 2018. Chris has also worked as a Softball Umpire at P.I.A.A. from 2009 to 2017. Chris has additional experience in positions such as Ship from Store Associate/Operations/Customer Service Specialist at DICK'S Sporting Goods (2013-2014) and as an Account Manager at USM (1999-2012). Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated a strong commitment to sports coaching and management, with a focus on basketball and athletics.

Chris Minerd obtained their high school diploma from Bethlehem Center in 1992. Chris then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Waynesburg University from 1992 to 1996. In 2012, they pursued a master's degree in Sports Management from PennWest California, which they completed in 2013. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Certified Athletic Administrator from the NIAAA in March 2016.
