Monica Crowley's work experience includes various roles in both the public and private sectors. Monica started their career as an Attorney in the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division from 1996 to 2000, and then worked as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas in 2000. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a Researcher at Orchard Films and later as an Associate Producer at Last Man Standing. In 2003, they joined Baron & Budd, P.C. as an Attorney until 2004 when they started their own sole practice in entertainment law and film production services. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Texas Attorney General's Office. Monica then served as the Executive Director of the Austin Fund for Quality Healthcare from 2012 to 2013, and as the Vice President of Strategic Communication and Policy at Lone Star Circle of Care from 2013 to 2014. Currently, they are employed at Central Health, where they have assumed roles as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships since 2014 and as the Chief Strategy and Planning Officer since March 2018.

Monica Crowley's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Austin College, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they attended The University of Texas School of Law from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, specializing in Law.
