The Engineers and Planners team at Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing the electric power generation and transmission systems. This includes planning future energy resource needs, ensuring the reliability and safety of the power grid, and implementing advanced control systems. Team members work collaboratively to develop strategic plans for energy distribution, upgrade existing infrastructure, and ensure compliance with industry standards to provide cost-effective, clean, and reliable energy services to over 300,000 Iowans.
