Karen Underwood

Karen Underwood has over twenty-five years of experience in the technology and healthcare industries. From 1994 to 1998, they served as the Manager of the Peter Kiewit Conference Center at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Karen then moved on to CSG International, a leading provider of global telecommunications software, where they held the role of Senior Product Manager from 1998 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Ensocare as the Executive Director of Product Development. Ensocare is a software company that provides solutions to enable an efficient and successful transition of the patient from acute to post-acute care. In 2020, they were appointed Senior Director of Product Management at ABOUT (previously Central Logic), a 125-person company that is the industry’s leader in patient access and orchestration.

Karen Underwood has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Karen also holds two certifications, a Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) from HIMSS and a Pragmatic Marketing Professional from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI).
