Chris Walker

Chris Walker currently serves as the Deputy Director of Athletics for External Operations at Central Michigan University since October 2021. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Executive Director of Athletics Development at UC Irvine from January 2018 to September 2021. Chris has extensive experience in athletics administration, including tenures as Associate Athletic Director for Development at Washington State University (2008-2018), Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations at UNC Wilmington (2006-2008), and Assistant/Associate Athletic Director at Southern Methodist University (2000-2006). Chris earned a degree from Florida State University between 1987 and 1992.
