Steve Vance is an accomplished academic leader and physician with extensive experience in medical education and clinical practice. Currently serving as Associate Dean of Clinical Education at Central Michigan University College of Medicine since September 2013, Steve Vance oversees the Years 3-4 clinical education program and provides leadership to clerkship directors. Previous roles include overseeing the undergraduate medical education program in Saginaw, leading curriculum innovations in emergency medicine residency training, and spearheading educational technology initiatives. In addition to roles at Central Michigan University, Steve Vance has been an attending physician at Covenant HealthCare and has held leadership positions in clinical simulation and emergency ultrasound education. Steve Vance holds an MBA focused on healthcare from Central Michigan University and a medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, along with a bachelor's degree in physics from Alma College.
