Leslie Wojtowicz has worked in the workforce development field for over 25 years. Leslie began their career in 1993 as a Family Advocate for Reach-Up Head Start. In 1997, they joined Central MN Jobs & Training Services as a Regional Supervisor, where they supervised staff of up to 19 and had knowledge of Workforce Investment Act programs, Minnesota youth programs, public assistance programs and senior services. In 2014, they joined Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc. as Workforce Development Division Manager and later as Interim Youth Program Manager.
Leslie Wojtowicz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University. Leslie has also obtained several certifications, including an Intercultural Developmental Inventory Qualified Administrator from IDI, LLC in May 2022, a Build a Full Website using WordPress certification from Coursera in April 2022, a Certified DEIB Specialist from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR in March 2022, an Inclusive Leadership: The Power of Workplace Diversity certification from Coursera in March 2022, a Motivational Enhancement Techniques: Working with Patients with Opioid & Substance Use Disorders or High Risk Use MAT Waiver Training Supplemental Course certification from Coursera in March 2022, a The Science of Success: What Researchers Know that You Should Know certification from Coursera in March 2022, a Benefits Planning Coach certification from the Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services in January 2019, and a Fundraising Certificate Series from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business in February 2015.
