Darrell Buckingham (He/Him)

Darrell Buckingham is a Program Officer for Strategic Initiatives at the Central New York Community Foundation, a position held since July 2019, where responsibilities include managing community initiatives, presenting funding recommendations, and leading the Black Equity & Excellence Fund. Prior to this role, Darrell served as the Foundation and Facility Operations Manager, focusing on employee onboarding and operational improvements. Earlier experience includes roles as Personnel Officer for Onondaga County Public Libraries, Workforce Development Specialist at CNY Works Inc., and Labor Services Representative at the New York State Department of Labor. Darrell is currently pursuing an MBA in Organizational Leadership at Le Moyne College, following a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business Administration and Management from Cazenovia College.
