Andy Dessel

Andy Dessel serves as the Health Innovations Manager at Central Pennsylvania Food Bank since January 2019, focusing on relationship development and project management with healthcare providers to address food insecurity. Additionally, Andy Dessel holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors for United Way of Pennsylvania, following a term as Vice Chairperson. Previous experience includes serving as Program Officer for PennSERVE within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where grant applications were evaluated and programs monitored. Andy Dessel's background includes various roles in educational and community service initiatives, including an AmeriCorps VISTA position. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctor of Education from Youngstown State University, a Master’s Degree in Training and Development from Penn State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Penn State University.
