Christopher Riebold

Christopher Riebold has a diverse work experience in the field of technical theater and event production. Christopher has served as a Technical Director of Performance Facilities at Central Piedmont Community College, where they managed and directed technical details for performance spaces. Christopher also worked as a Consulting Designer/Show and Event Support at Creative Production Resource, providing technical advice, design work, and show support for theatrical and special events. Additionally, they were a Production Manager at Charlotte Ballet, overseeing daily technical operations and production aspects of various productions. Christopher also has experience as an AV Technician & Warehouse Manager at NORMAN SOUND AND PRODUCTIONS INC, maintaining audiovisual production equipment and setting up equipment for in-person and virtual events. Furthermore, they worked as a Technical Director for the Barnhardt Student Activity Center/Halton Arena at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, managing technical details and audio-visual equipment. Prior to that, they served as a Production Manager/Technical Director for the Glema Mahr Center at Madisonville Community College and as a Stage Crew/Sound Engineer at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Jesse Auditorium. Christopher began their career as a Theatre Shop Assistant at the University of Central Missouri and has also held roles as a Technical Director & Lighting Designer at Brownville Village Theatre and a Stage Hand at Central Missouri Repertory.

Christopher Riebold has a B.F.A degree in Technical Theatre, which they obtained from the University of Central Missouri between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Moberly Area Community College between 1995 and 1997. Additionally, Christopher has acquired various certifications and memberships, including being a Member of USITT and the Event Safety Alliance, obtaining a Covid Compliance Officer certification from Health Education Services, and completing a course on Computer Networking from Alison - Free Online Learning. Christopher also holds the distinction of being an Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America. Christopher is also a member of Dance/USA.
