Jaspal Singh

Jaspal Singh has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jaspal currently works as a Medical Advisor at South Piedmont AHEC. Previously, they held roles such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair, Adult Medical Specialties, and Medical Director at Atrium Health. Jaspal has also served as Vice President at the Society for Advanced Bronchoscopy and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine. With Central Piedmont Community College, they worked as the Medical Director of Respiratory Therapy Education. Additionally, they have held positions such as Medical Director, Professional Development and Education at Carolinas Healthcare System and Medical Director of Medical ICU Curriculum at Carolinas Center for Advanced Practice. Jaspal has also served as a Medical Director at Carolinas Sleep Services. Jaspal Singh pursued a Masters in Healthcare Administration at the School of Public Health, UNC Chapel Hill, where they focused their thesis on Telemedicine in Critical Care. Jaspal has also worked as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center.

Jaspal Singh has a diverse education history. Jaspal obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology from the University of Michigan between 1995 and 1999. Later, in 2004-2006, Singh pursued a Master of Health Science (MHS) degree in Clinical Genomics, Pulmonary from Duke University. In the same period, from 1995 to 1999, Singh also studied Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Finally, between 2007 and 2010, Singh pursued an Executive Masters in Health Administration (MHA) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to these qualifications, Singh holds certification as a Diplomate of the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP) from the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP). Singh has also received certification in Simulation Education from Carolinas HealthCare System.
