Yuri Sutanto

Yuri Sutanto is the Head of Fish Breeding and Hatchery Operation at PT. Central Proteina Prima, Tbk. They also held various other leadership positions within the company related to fish health services, disease research, and hatchery innovation. In addition, they serve as a lecturer at the Faculty of Biotechnology, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, teaching topics in mobile DNA, genome dynamics, and biotechnology in aquaculture. Prior to their current roles, they were involved in aquaculture research and development at Central Proteinaprima, Tbk and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. They hold a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BSc in Biology from IPB University.
