Matt Ward

Matt Ward is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in algorithm development and integration across various industries. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at CentralReach since September 2020, Matt creates algorithms for ScheduleAI, collaborates with engineering, product, and customer success teams. Prior to this role, Matt founded Cartocal, LLC, where algorithms facilitating field service scheduling were developed. Experience at the Naval Surface Warfare Center involved operations research and algorithm creation for systems engineering, while prior consulting at Acme Alpha Hedge Fund focused on algorithm implementation in MATLAB. Early career roles included internships at Toyon Research Corporation and tutoring at Huntington Learning Center. Matt holds a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Math and Statistics from UC Santa Barbara, along with a Certificate in Digital Signal Processing from UCLA.
