Kristen Holder

Kristen Holder is an experienced professional in workforce development and community initiatives, currently serving as the Executive Director of Central Six AlabamaWorks! since February 2023. Prior to this role, Kristen worked as the Region 2 & 4 Project Manager at the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship from February 2020 to February 2023 and as the Industry Cluster Coordinator at Central Six Development Council from September 2017 to February 2020. Previous positions also include Regional Initiatives Coordinator at Coastal Alabama Partnership and Coastal Community Development Specialist at Auburn University Marine Extension & Research Center. Kristen's career began with a role as Project Coordinator at Mobile Bay National Estuary Program and an internship at the University of South Alabama Wesley Foundation. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida State University, earned between 2007 and 2011.
