Travis Knight is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in literacy coaching and teaching across various educational roles. Currently serving as a Literacy Coach at Central Square Central School District since September 2015, Travis supports middle school teachers in enhancing their instructional practices. Prior experience includes training as a LETRS Trainer, teaching 7th Grade ELA, and substituting in multiple districts. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Adolescent Education and a Master of Education in Literacy Education from SUNY Oswego, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English. Additionally, Travis has worked as a specialized teacher at Huntington Learning Center and has engaged in content creation and tutoring roles, showcasing a versatile skill set focused on student support and literacy development.
