Shannon Reasby

Shannon Reasby is an experienced educator currently serving as an Instructional Specialist and ELA District Coordinator at Crossroads Charter Schools of Kansas City since August 2016. In addition to roles on the Administrative Leadership and Instructional Leadership Teams, Shannon has been an Elementary Methods Instructor at The Kansas City Teacher Residency since July 2018, co-facilitating conferences aimed at optimizing instructional practices and enhancing phonological awareness. Previous teaching positions include first-grade teacher roles at Gordon Parks Elementary School and IMAGINE Renaissance Academy, as well as instructional coaching and facilitating various educational conferences. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Simpson College and has contributed significantly to the professional development of educators through conference facilitation and innovative teaching methods.
