Heather Kauffman

Heather Kauffman is a financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management across various organizations. Currently serving as Assistant Controller at Central States Water Resources since May 2025, responsibilities include preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP and ensuring accurate reporting for stakeholders. Previously, Kauffman held the position of Director Operational Accounting MO-IL at SSM Health, overseeing a team managing financial functions for multiple hospitals. Experience also includes managing accounting teams and financial operations for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, The Aspire Software Company, and the Chi Omega Foundation. Kauffman began professional career as an intern and assistant, gaining foundational skills that have been built upon through advanced education, including two master's degrees in Accounting and Finance and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Webster University.
