Morgan O'Brien

Morgan O'Brien, Ph.D., currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Central Texas College since August 2020 and has also held positions as an Adjunct Faculty member at The University of Texas at Austin and Instructor at The Princeton Review, both in 2023. O'Brien has experience as a UX Researcher with SavingBucks and as a Quality Assurance Tester at Aspyr Media from 2020 to 2023. A former Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from 2011 to 2020, O'Brien also contributed as Co Editor & Press Liaison for The Velvet Light Trap - A Critical Journal of Film & Television. O'Brien holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Media Studies from Moody College of Communication, with a dissertation focusing on independent video games, along with a Certificate in UX/UI Research & Design from The University of Texas at Austin and two Master's degrees in Communication and Media Studies and English with Film Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Aberdeen, respectively.
