Ana Maciel is an experienced professional in community relations and outreach, currently serving as Agency Relations at the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas since June 2011. In this role, Ana supports partner agencies across 21 counties, ensuring compliance with policy requirements and providing capacity-building assistance through training. Previously, Ana worked as a Community/Business Development Manager at United Health Care Group/EverCare Health Plan, focusing on marketing Medicare Advantage plans and developing relationships within the community. Ana also has a background in managed care enrollment as a Community Outreach Counselor with MAXIMUS, where responsibilities included outreach for Medicaid/Medicare programs, and as a Committee Clerk for Texas Congressional/Senate Redistricting Committees, involving organizing and managing committee hearings.
