Maria Peinado

Mrs. Peinado was elected to the CUHSD Board in 2020. Mrs. Peinado is a long time resident of El Centro and parent of a Southwest High School graduate. A graduate of Brawley High School, Mrs. Peinado is a lifelong resident of the valley and first generation college graduate. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego and a Masters in Public Administration from San Diego State University. Mrs. Peinado is currently the Public Health Information Officer for the Imperial County Public Health Department. She serves as a Board member for MANA de Imperial Valley as Newsletter Editor. Mrs. Peinado is an advocate for music and performing arts education and for students with special needs.
