Andrea Martínez Galarza

Andrea Martínez Galarza is an accomplished consultant at FAO and a professor in the Economy Faculty at Universidad Central del Ecuador, where also serves as the general editor for the Economic Research Journal. With extensive experience as a policies and procedures specialist for the Ministerio de Agricultura, Ganaderia, Acuacultura y Pesca, Andrea focused on developing public policy proposals for family farmers and creating sustainable agri-food strategies. Educational achievements include a PhD in Natural Resources and Sustainable Management from Universidad de Córdoba, and various advanced degrees in land use planning and agroecology from prestigious institutions including Chiang Mai University and the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
