Education Service Center, Region 2
Cindy Cantu is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and administration. Currently serving as a Math Specialist at the Education Service Center, Region 2 since September 2014, Cindy previously worked as a Math Interventionist with Banquete ISD from August 2008 to August 2014. Prior to that, Cindy held the position of Case Manager at the City of Corpus Christi from January 2008 to July 2008 and worked as a Litigation Paralegal at the Law Offices of Shaffer, Layton, & Luna from February 1998 to January 2008. Cindy earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the same institution.

The Region 2 Education Service Center's mission is to be a catalyst for change resulting in student improvement, efficiency, and economy of operation. We promote educational excellence for all our students in which state and local initiatives are endorsed and implemented within the region. Every Region 2 district is provided both instructional and non-instructional assistance. The primary focus of our organization is geared towards student achievement which is achieved via offering relevant professional development for teachers, administrators, school board members, parents, and other clientele.
