Ruben Avina

Ruben Avina is an experienced professional in safety and facilities management, currently serving as the Director of Safety and Facilities at Central Valley since March 2019. Previous roles include Safety Manager at Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada, Inc. and Safety Manager at IFCO SYSTEMS, where responsibilities included overseeing production staff, managing employee relations, and conducting safety audits across multiple facilities. Ruben also held positions as Assistant Plant Manager and On Site Operations Manager, focusing on regulatory compliance and employee development. In addition to these roles, Ruben was the Business Owner of Starr Carpet Cleaning, establishing a successful residential carpet cleaning business. Education was pursued at Sierra College from 1996 to 1997.
