Carol Herring

Carol Herring, RN, MPH, CCM, is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing, case management, and clinical quality improvement. Currently serving as an Office Registered Nurse in Neurology at The University of Vermont Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center since September 2019, Carol has previous roles that include RN Case Manager for Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice and RN Clinical Reviewer for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, where responsibilities encompassed utilization reviews and integrated case management for complex medical needs. Carol's previous experience also includes roles as Care Manager/Quality Analyst and Community Health Coach, further showcasing a comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery, discharge planning, and chronic disease management. Carol holds a Master of Public Health from Walden University, an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Registered Nursing from Adirondack Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Siena College.
