Nilay Modi

Nilay Modi is a Co-Founder at Central, a company launched in January 2023 and associated with Y Combinator S24. Previously, Nilay co-founded Clayboard, a virtual workshop platform supported by Y Combinator W20, Gradient Ventures, and SOMA Capital from September 2019 to October 2022. Prior to these ventures, Nilay's experience included various roles from January 2012 to July 2018, involving internships at 3M and other companies, the creation of a marketplace for 3D assets, and the development of an educational chatbot for students. Nilay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science from UCLA, where studies were completed between 2014 and 2018.
