Steve Harris

Steve Harris has extensive experience in educational leadership and advocacy, currently serving as Board Clerk for the Centralia Board of Trustees and Board President for the Greater Anaheim Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). Since 2012, Harris has been a member of the Centralia School District Board of Trustees, actively engaging with teachers, administrators, and the community. Previous roles include President of the Centralia Elementary District Board of Trustees and Executive Vice-President of the ABC Federation of Teachers, where responsibilities focused on supporting teachers and enhancing student learning. Harris also held various positions within the ABC Unified School District, including Program Specialist for Title I, District Data Analyst, and teacher in multiple capacities. Educationally, Harris holds a Master of Arts in Education in Second Language Acquisition from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from California State University, Long Beach.
