Juan Consuegra

Juan Consuegra has worked in the life sciences industry for over 20 years. Juan began their career in 1997 as a Senior Licensing Manager for The Texas A&M University System, Office of Technology Commercialization. In 2005, they joined Central Life Sciences as a Business Development Manager. In 2010, they were promoted to Director of Licensing and Business Development for Central Life Sciences (Professional Business Unit of Central Garden & Pet). In this role, they focused on the prospection, assessment and acquisition of new products and technologies and the development of select foreign markets. In 2020, they were appointed Director, Active Ingredient & Emerging Market Sales for Central Life Sciences.

Juan Consuegra is currently enrolled at Northwestern University, where they are pursuing an Executive Education in Mergers and Acquisitions. Juan has previously earned a MS in Management of Technology from Washington University in St. Louis, a MS in Molecular Biology from University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a Bachelor's Degree in a double major in Biology and Microbiology from Universidad de Los Andes. In addition, they hold a Certified Licensing Professional certification from Certified Licensing Professionals, Inc., obtained in June 2014, and a Kaizen Leader certification from CG&P OPEX Program.
