Shaghayegh Taheri

Shaghayegh Taheri is an experienced AI research scientist currently working at the Centre de développement et de recherche en intelligence numérique (CDRIN) since May 2022. Prior to this role, Shaghayegh served as a computer vision software developer at Bluewrist Inc. from February 2019 to May 2022, and worked as a research engineer at mtl.ai from September 2017 to December 2018. Academic involvement includes serving as a teaching assistant and research assistant at Concordia University, focusing on robust nuclei segmentation in cyto-histopathological images during the Master’s program. Shaghayegh holds a Master of Computer Science degree from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology. Early experience includes a research assistant role at Isfahan University of Technology, working on human-robot interaction, and a summer internship involving DNS service configuration for LAN.
