Julien Ouellet

Project Director - FDI - U.s. South East at Investissement Québec

Julien Ouellet has a diverse work experience in various fields. Julien is currently working as a Project Director for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the U.S. South East region at Investissement Québec. Prior to this, they held the position of Project Manager for FDI in New England & Canada at the same company.

Before joining Investissement Québec, Julien worked as a Business Development Manager for Canada at the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Their responsibilities included coordinating FDI prospecting for the State of Georgia, representing the department in trade shows and meetings with Canadian companies, and helping Canadian companies expand in Georgia.

Julien has also worked as an FDI & Trade Consultant at CIDEP, where they organized lead generation campaigns for European and North American economic development agencies and monitored economic trends and expansion projects. In addition, they produced in-depth market reports on the Canadian market.

Earlier in their career, Julien worked at La Fromagerie Hamel, where they held various roles including Manager, Cheese Advisor, Senior Clerk, and Clerk. Julien has also served as a Teaching Assistant in Political Science at the Université de Montréal and as a Research Assistant in History at the Université de Sherbrooke.

Julien Ouellet obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the Université de Montréal from 2013 to 2016. Julien then pursued a bachelor's degree in History with an Honors program at the same university, completing it from 2016 to 2019. Recently, they completed a Master's degree in Political Science at the Université de Montréal from 2019 to 2021.
