Xuan Hoan Dinh is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Crop and Disease Management since September 2023 and has been a researcher at the Plant Protection Research Institute since November 2007. Previously, Xuan Hoan Dinh served as a Research Fellow at the Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences from May 2022 to June 2023 and was a PhD student and researcher at The University of Sydney from July 2016 to October 2020, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Agriculture was obtained. Xuan Hoan Dinh specializes in studying host-pathogen interactions at the molecular level, designing and conducting experiments, and analyzing data for scientific reports and publications.

Established in 2014, the CCDM has been recognised for its contribution to industry, and national research excellence, with a funding extension from the GRDC through until mid-2022.
