Ramnath Sankaran

Ramnath Sankaran is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President at the Centre for Effective Governance of Indian States (CEGIS), Ramnath leads Education and HR initiatives in Tamil Nadu since February 2022. Previously, Ramnath took a sabbatical focused on personal enrichment from January 2020 to June 2021 and spent over two decades at Infosys, holding various positions including Sr. Director, where responsibilities included global account management, P&L, client relationships, business development, and team leadership for Fortune 100 clients. Earlier career experience includes roles at Birla Copper, HINDALCO as a Process Engineer. Ramnath holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute and additional leadership qualifications from The Takshashila Institution and ILSS - India Leaders for the Social Sector.
