Hemant Singh Katoch

Hemant Singh Katoch is an experienced professional with a robust background in humanitarian operations and cultural research. Currently serving as an Advisor at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue since July 2018, Hemant also holds the title of Myanmar Country Representative, overseeing the organization's operations in Myanmar. Past roles include authoring "The Battlefields of Imphal: The Second World War and North East India" during tenure with Routledge Taylor & Francis Group from 2015 to 2018, and coordinating the Manipur WWII Project at INTACH from 2012 to 2014. Hemant's experience also encompasses positions with the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Democratic Republic of Congo, various project management roles with the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, and work with the United Nations World Food Programme in Timor-Leste. Hemant's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from McGill University.
