Anjali Sharma

Anjali Sharma, BA, Sc.D. , is a Social Scientist, with over 20 years’ experience implementing Social, Behavioral, and Organizational change research and programmes. She has keen interest in the application of critical theory and rights-based lens to understand and address socio-cultural determinants of health. She has served as Sr Research Technical Advisor at the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) for six years. She provides technical expertise and oversight for studies using qualitative and mixed methods for intervention design and evaluation in Zambia. In her role at CIDRZ and as Honorary Clinical Faculty at the University of Washington (UW), Dr Sharma mentors budding scientists in Zambia, the USA, and the UK. She has contributed to the study of Adolescent Health, Aging, Bioethics, Cervical Cancer, COVID, Digital Health Interventions, Health Systems Strengthening, HIV, Mental Health, TB, Vaccines, and WASH in Zambia.
