Marios Tokas

Programme Manager, Trade, Investment And Finance at Centre for International Sustainable Development Law

Marios Tokas is an accomplished legal professional specializing in international trade law and economic law. Currently serving as the Head of Trade Law Research at Besso since June 2023, Marios also holds the position of Teaching Assistant at the Geneva Graduate Institute, focusing on various international law subjects. With experience as a Program Coordinator and Associate Research Fellow at the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law, Marios has contributed significantly to trade and investment initiatives. Previous roles include Lecturer at the EPLO European Public Law Organization, Consultant at Tulip Consulting, and Senior Data Analyst at Arbitrator Intelligence. Marios's educational background includes pursuing a PhD in International Law at the Geneva Graduate Institute, complemented by Master's degrees in International Law and Public International Law, as well as a Bachelor of Laws. Additional academic pursuits include a summer program at Harvard University in Game Theory and a finance minor from The American College of Greece.
