Matt Tyler is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in social policy, community engagement, and public service. Currently serving as the Executive Director of The Men’s Project at Jesuit Social Services since April 2019, Matt focuses on engaging men and boys to prevent violence and promote respectful, accountable lives. Additionally, Matt is a Board Member of the Menzies Foundation and serves as Mayor and Councillor for Hobsons Bay City Council since November 2020, actively working towards community recovery and improving local services. Matt's previous roles include Director at the Centre for Evidence and Implementation, Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, and various positions in public policy consultation and economic analysis, supported by a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and multiple academic qualifications from Monash University and the University of Melbourne.
