Roger Woodman

Roger Woodman is an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick, leading research on trust and acceptance in future mobility technologies and serving as Co-Director of the Centre for Doctoral Training focused on Connected and Autonomous Vehicles and Wide Bandgap Power Electronics. Woodman contributes to the Biomedical & Scientific Research Ethics Committee, reviewing ethical standards for research involving human participants. Previous positions include Research Fellow in Autonomous Vehicles and Biomedical Imaging at the University of Southampton, and various roles in software engineering and consulting, covering both cryptography systems for smart metering and asset management systems for defense applications. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Robotics from Bristol Robotics Laboratory and an MSc in Robotics from the University of the West of England.
