Emily Spek is a skilled professional currently serving as a Trades Intake and Employment Specialist at the Centre for Skills Development since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as STEP Coordinator at MAP Strategic Workforce Services and as a Welding Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Six Nations Polytechnic. With a background in various welding positions, including Fitter-Welder at Turnkey Modular Systems Inc. and Welder at Catalytic Exhaust Products LTD, Emily has extensive hands-on experience in the trade. Educational qualifications include study at Georgian College and a degree in Museum Management and Curatorship from Fleming College, along with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Art History from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
