Annabel Short

Annabel Short has a diverse and extensive professional background in various fields such as journalism, environmental communications, and human rights advocacy. Currently, Annabel is the Founder of It's Material, a company that focuses on new directions in the built environment. Annabel also holds the title of Lead for the Youth Journalism Project at the Centre for Sport and Human Rights, working with young journalists in North America. In addition, Annabel serves as a Research Fellow and Senior Advisor for the Institute for Human Rights and Business, focusing on the built environment and climate action. With a solid educational background in languages, development studies, and journalism, Annabel has a wealth of experience in community-building projects and sustainable initiatives.
