Alice Le Nilias Houmeau is a PhD student at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) since October 2021, focusing on medical imaging. Prior experience includes a role as a student researcher at Aix-Marseille Université from February to June 2021, where Alice contributed to a biomedical project in dermatology for melanoma classification utilizing both hand-crafted methods and deep learning techniques. In 2019, Alice served as a clinical research engineer intern at EOS imaging, conducting a dose comparison study between two imaging systems and developing databases from unstructured DICOM image banks. Additionally, from June 2018 to June 2019, Alice was the vice president of IsHelp, managing the humanitarian association of ISEP. Alice's educational background includes a doctorate in medical imaging from École de technologie supérieure (2021-2025), a degree from Isep - École d'ingénieurs du numérique (2016-2021), and study at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (2018).
