Marise Guindon

Assistant Director, Social & Multidisciplinary Component at Centre jeunesse de Montréal - Institut universitaire

Marise Guindon is the current Assistant Director of the Social & Multidisciplinary Component at the Centre jeunesse de Montréal - Institut universitaire. Marise has also served on the Board of Directors for CDEC Centre-Sud/Plateau Mont-Royal from June 2013 to June 2015. From January 1998 to December 2007, they worked as an Agente de développement économique et communautaire, where they coordinated urban development and community economic projects, supported the formation of commercial associations, and provided assistance to community and social organizations. In January 2009, they joined CRÉMIS-PRAXCIT as a Praticienne-chercheure and has since been involved in various research projects concerning community practices and citizen participation. Marise Guindon's areas of interest include community development, social determinants of health, poverty and social exclusion, marginalized populations, and urban and social policy issues.

Marise Guindon has a Bachelor's degree in International Politics and Sociology from the University of Ottawa, and a Master's degree in Sociology from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Marise Guindon works with Nathalie Bibeau - Director, Youth Program, Guénaëlle Joly - Director, Financial Resources, and Renée-Marthe Giard - Deputy Director, Unified Information System Human Resources & Payroll Management. Marise Guindon reports to Sonia Bélanger, CEO.
