Firas Feki

Firas Feki is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of biological engineering and biotechnology. Currently serving as a General Engineer and Chief Engineer at the Centre of Biotechnology of Sfax since January 2002, Firas has played a pivotal role in various influential research projects, including the CLARA Project in Ethiopia and the FP7 European project BioNexGen, focusing on advanced membrane technologies for water treatment. Firas has also managed and monitored multiple membrane bioreactor systems for wastewater treatment and collaborated on innovative solutions for industrial wastewater challenges. Firas holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Engineering, as well as a Master's degree and an Engineering degree in Biological Engineering from the National Engineering School of Sfax. Previous experience includes work at Sfax Oils as an Agro-food Engineer, overseeing olive oil quality control and analysis.
