Claudia Sil

Claudia Sil is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in marine conservation and biodiversity. As Co-Founder and CEO of BlueZ C, Claudia leads efforts in ecological restoration and the valuation of blue carbon ecosystems. Claudia also serves as a Strategic Advisor at CCDR Algarve and a Doctoral Researcher at the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR), focusing on coastal lagoon ecosystem services. Additional roles include being an active member of the Ria Formosa Natural Park Co-Management Commission and previously holding the position of President at Quercus - Núcleo Regional do Algarve and Regenerarte. Claudia has a solid educational foundation with a PhD candidate status at Universidade do Algarve and multiple master's degrees in environmental and marine sciences from renowned Portuguese universities.
