Kelly DaCosta has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and education sectors. Kelly started their career as a School Psychology Intern at Scarsdale High School in 2010.
Kelly then worked as an ABA Instructor at The Carbone Clinic, where they focused on implementing behavior plans for students on the Autism spectrum and managing program development.
In 2012, they joined East Ramapo Central School District as a School Psychologist, and during their time there, they conducted assessments and worked with students, caregivers, and program teams.
Kelly also worked as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in their self-employed role from 2013 to 2016, where they utilized applied behavior analysis principles and conducted data collection for program management.
From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a School Psychologist at Cumberland Therapy Services, LLC.
Currently, they hold the position of Area Vice President at Centria Healthcare, where they oversee operations in four markets and manages key business drivers to promote growth, quality, efficiency, and continuity of care. Kelly also collaborates with cross-functional teams and focuses on change management and operational excellence.
Kelly DaCosta earned their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in School Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they obtained the certification of Nationally Certified School Psychologist from the National Association of School Psychologists. Also in 2011, they obtained the New York State Certified School Psychologist certification. From 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology.
